A charming pair of Sevres styled porcelain vases with delightful figural scenes of a fair maiden and cherub in a forest with a basket of flowers, signed by artist P. Roche, it dates circa 1860, France. It features an ovoid shaped porcelain body, hand-painted in colours of teal, violet, blue, yellow, pink, brown and green, and decorated with embellishments of foliate and gold throughout, with a metal beaded rim, curved metal handles and metal foot. Beautifully designed and painted, it would be perfect for a unique gift, or a collector of fine art objects.
