Pair of Large Paris Porcelain Fleur-de-Lis Shaped Vases, circa 1870 – 21 inches high

This is a pair of unusual Aesthetic Movement vases in the form of fleur-de-lis: Heavily gilded and decorated on the fronts with large, brightly colored, ovoid figural panels depicting two ladies in pastoral settings during the harvest: one gathers grapes, the other grain. The vases are further embellished with figural lily, flowers, buds and leaves. They rest on curved pedestal bases with trefoils on the front.
