Pair of Large Silver Plated 5 Arm Regency Style Candelabras – circa 1910.
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA tall pair of large silver plate and crystal four-armed candelabras, with an elevated center candle. The candelabras are decorated in the neoclassical manner, with chased linear and bead decoration, complemented by foliate ornament of acanthus on the cups, arms, columns and bases. Tapered columnar posts, topped with ribbon and laurel swags, support four winding, upturned and crossed arms, topped by cup-shaped foliate candleholders around a matching, elevated, columnar center. Each candleholder has a round bobeche beneath, surrounded by a dozen suspended rondelle and teardrop pendant, faceted crystals.
