v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA beautiful pair of floral and swirl decorated and pierced silver-plated fish servers in their original box. The box is black leather with gold trim. The interior of the box is blue velvet and blue silk.
Marked J S & S with a Star hallmark – for John Sanderson & Son located in Sheffield, England in the 1880’s & 90’s.
The fish slice measures 12 1/4 inches long. The fork is 9 inches in length.
The box has age wear on the exterior and the set shows some usage but, overall, both pieces are in very good condition.
