Pair of Nice Quality – 15 inch Large 19th Century German Volkstedt Figurines of a Man & Woman in Colourful Dress

A wonderful pair of large, 19th Century German porcelain figurines showing a man and woman in colourful period costumes.  Colourfully hand painted – the woman with bonnet topped with flowers in her hand – the other hand up showing her hand, the gentleman also with his hat in his hands – his hat also has flowers attached

The bottom of each shows an early Volkstedt factory mark in blue (double pitchfork).

The figures measure:  15 1/2 inches tall.

The figures are both in excellent condition with one minor repair to the gentleman’s thumb.
