Paris Porcelain Empire Period Cup and Saucer, Italian Landscape, circa 1820.
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA French Empire period antique Paris porcelain cup and saucer, circa 1820, with a white background and hand painted with an Italian landscape scene with gold bands near the rim, base and handle of the cup. A gold floral pattern on the deep saucer and Paris porcelain markings on the underside of the deep saucer.
The cup handle has a shell motif.
Measures: The cup is 3 3/4 inches tall and the saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
There is some gold paint loss on both the cup and saucer but the Italian scene on the cup is in good condition.
