Plique-a-Jour – 14k Gold Butterfly Brooch, Adjustable Enamelled Wings & Chrysophrase Gemstone Eyes.

A rare Butterfly brooch having Plique-a-Jour wings – clear coloured enamel droplets in between 14k gold framing.  The enamel are in colours of blue, white & purple.  The body and framing of the wings are gold – the head contains 2 green cabochon Chrysophrase gemstone eyes and 2 gold antenae.  The wings are adjustable and can move up and down – so you can choose whether you want the brooch to lay flat or not.
