Rare Secessionist Sterling Silver Purse inset with Pink Tourmalines – Dated 1906

A rare Secessionist sterling silver purse, inset with 19 small pink tourmalines (rare jewels at the time), probably Austrian or German in origin. The purse has Birmingham England import marks with a date letter for 1906.

The interior of the purse is red leather with various compartments. The purse comes with a one shilling coin from 1902, showing the head of Edward VII.

The purse measures 4 5/8 inches long x 3 3/4 inches high (including the clasp) x 1 1/4 inches deep.

Excellent condition overall.  A couple of small dings (very minor).
