Rare Triple Pedestal Mahogany Dining Room Table – Georgian Style – English circa 1890.
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA rare triple pedestal dining room table in mahogany – rounded ends and banded. The three pedestal tables clip together to form the table – and there are two additional leaves that can be added.
All three pedestals have 3 legs each with brass lion paw capped feet on castors. The style is Georgian, but the table dates late 19th century – circa 1890.
The table can be made short with just the two rounded ends together – while the centre pedestal table can “tilt” up and be pushed out of the way.
Each round half measures 27 inches x 45 inches. The smallest the table can be is 54 inches.
Add centre pedestal measures 36 inches x 45 inches. With all three pedestals measures 90 inches long.
Add two additional leaves (1 measures 20.5 inches – the other 17.5 inches) – Total length – 128 inches. (10 1/2 feet).
