This desirable wide-base form is considerably scarcer than the standard tall version and displays the richness, balance, and meticulous hand-gilding characteristic of Derby’s finest early 20th-century production.
The body is decorated in deep cobalt blue, iron red, and soft peach tones, overlaid with elaborate 24-karat raised and flat gilt. Stylized florals and scrolling anthemion motifs wrap the surface with exceptional clarity and brightness. The gilt handle and spout remain crisp, showing little to no wear.
A refined and compact coffee pot, perfect for collectors of early Imari, Derby pattern 2451, or rare-form tablewares from this period.
