Royal Worcester Pair Hand-Painted Plates, Artist Signed Floral Centres – W. Hale (Artist)

Here is a wonderful pair of Royal Worcester hand-painted porcelain plates.

The centre section has a green and pink background and shows sprays of flowers. That is also where the artist “W. Hale” signed the plates.

The middle section has a cream background with elaborate decoration in gold. The outer section to the rim has a cobalt blue background with different designs in gold.

On the back of the plate is the Royal Worcester factory mark and stamped “Royal Worcester Made in England”. Painted on is the inscription “C 1167” and the initials “XR” on each plate.

Each plate measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter and they are in excellent condition.
