Set of 4 British – Fox Hunting Scenes – Hand Coloured Etchings by George Wright (1860-1942) – EW Lavery Publisher

A wonderful set of 4 British fox hunting hand coloured etchings colourful by George Wright – circa 1910 – published by EW. Lavery Ltd.  Each etching has white double matting under glass and framed in gilt & black wood frames.  Each etching depicts a different aspect of a fox hunt and are titled, as follows:

1. The Pink of Condition
2. His Same Old Game
3. “With a Scent Breast-High”
4. After a Good Day

Each etching is signed by the artist and “George Wright” is also stamped on the edge of each. In addition, in the upper right corner of each print is stamped “Copyright E.W. Lavery Ltd. Bristol”.

Each framed etching measures approximately 25 1/2 inches tall x 30 3/4 inches in width.  2 frames are slightly larger than the other 2 (can be seen in the main photo with all 4 pictured together).

All 4 Etchings and frames are in excellent condition.
