Sevres France Porcelain Tea Caddy, Elaborately Decorated in Blue and Gold, Painted Scenes on the Side and Top of the Lid

A gorgeous Sevres France porcelain tea caddy with removable lid. The caddy is wonderfully decorated in cobalt blue with elaborate gilding. There are painted scenes on each side and on the top of the lid. On one side and on the top of the lid is a riverside scene, while the other side shows a mother and child in an outdoor scene.

The underside of the caddy shows the Sevres maker’s mark.

The piece is 5 inches tall from the lid to the base and measures 2 inches wide across the base.

While there is a very tiny nick on the bottom rim of the caddy, overall the piece is in very good condition.
