Sterling Silver & Heavy Crystal Inkwell with Under Tray – American circa 1900
Silver HollowareAn American sterling top inkwell sitting on a heavy crystal square base. The entire bottom of the crystal is wheel cut and an ink well has been blown into its centre. The inkwell sits upon a square engraved silver tray. Both marked Sterling but there is no visible makers’ mark present.
Tray measures: 6 inches square
Inkwell measures: 4 1/4 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches square at the crystal base.
Condition: There are some surface scratches on the tray and two small dents on the sterling inkwell top. However the pieces are in overall good condition.
