Tall 21 Inch Sterling Silver Basket with Handle by American Silver Maker Gorham – circa 1890
Silver HollowareA gorgeous Gorham (American silversmith) sterling silver large basket with curved handle, circa 1890. The underside of the basket shows the maker’s marks and is stamped “Gorham Sterling 9897 / 1”.
The basket has lovely embossed swirl designs on the body and a wonderful pierced handle.
The basket is 21 inches tall from the base to the top of the handle and is 9 3/4 inches wide at the opening.
It is in beautiful condition.
