PotteryA very popular Pratt Ware pottery pot lid, titled “Dr. Johnson”. This is an adaptation of E.M. Ward’s picture in the Tate Gallery showing Dr. Johnson waiting to see Lord Chesterfield.
The pot lid is 4 1/4 inches in diameter. There are some chips on the underside but, overall, it is in good condition.
