Very Large Naples Porcelain Box with Putti and Women, c. 1900, Hinged Lid & Bronze Fittings with Lion’s Head Clasp

A very large, gorgeous Naples porcelain box, circa 1900, decorated all over with raised scenes of women and putti figures.

The box has a hinged lid with bronze fittings and with a lion’s head on the clasp.

The underside of the box shows the Naples (N with crown)  mark and also a  “Made in France” hand written underneath.
Naples porcelain is Italian, but probably decorated in France.

The box measures 11 inches in diameter and stands 6 inches high.

It is in excellent condition.
