Victorian American Silver-Plate Footed Centerpiece with Cherub Decoration

A wonderful Victorian American silver-plate footed centrepiece with a cherub decoration and etched designs on the body of the piece.

The maker’s mark (Roger Smith & Co. of Connecticut) is stamped on the inside of one of the legs.

The piece measures 14 1/2 inches in length x 5 1/2 inches in width and stands 13 inches tall from the top of the cherub’s head to the feet.

Note: one of the feet has been damaged and there are some usage scratches on the inside of the bowl. However the rest of the piece is in very good condition.
