Victorian Vaseline Glass EPERGENE in Green circa 1870

This is a beautiful Victorian vaseline glass Epergne. It dates circa 1870 and is traditionally used to display flowers.

It has a tall centre trumpet, two curved side trumpets, two spiral canes that support a hanging basket of which there are two.

The Vaseline glass is edged with a bright green along each ruffled rim and has right green applied glass decorations on the three main trumpets. The base is square in shape with a green ruffled rim.

Measures:  22 inches tall x 14 3/4 inches wide
