Wallace Grande Baroque Sterling Silver Flatware Luncheon Set Serves 12

This elegant 60 piece sterling silver flatware set, made by Wallace, is a service for 12 place settings and includes twelve of each utensil: luncheon knives, luncheon forks, lunch forks, cream soup spoons and tea spoons.  The flatware set is done in the lavish Grand Baroque pattern, being first produced in 1941 and captures the classical symbols of the Renaissance in the exquisitely carved pillar and acanthus leaf as found in nature. The sculptural, hand-wrought quality is evident in the playful open work and intricate, three-dimensional visual detail. The knives have sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades.

All of the other pieces are solid sterling silver and the wood box is in very good condition. The set has never been monogrammed or engraved. Perfect for traditional or formal settings.
