It features an unusual nursery rhyme design, decorated with acid etched depictions,monogramed with the initials ‘S.S.’ in the centre, and inscribed: “Every night my prayers I say, And get my dinner every day, And every day that I’ve been good, I get an orange after food”.
Additional Regal Silver – Silver Plate ‘Peter Rabbit’ Curved Handle Baby Spoon.

The box is beautifully decorated with a scene depicting a romantic tale of a shepherd courting a lady with his sheep in the background. It is also chased with elegant accents of florals, leaves and musical instruments bordering the vignette, and around the perimeter of the box.
A lovely repoussé decorated box in German silver, it would make a unique gift, or art object for holding fine objects.
Marked: On the bottom, German crescent moon and crown mark and marked .800 for the content of silver (80%).

A stunning English Hallmarked Sterling Teapot, it dates 1821, London. The teapot is rather an small, yet odd round shape that decorated with a bold engraving of a loin in the centre of on both the rear and front. It is features simple, yet classic decorative elements of bead and scroll in the design. It is a beautiful combination of silver and wood, with the wood appearing on the handle and the top of the lid. The wooden handle and top would have made it easier to pick up and pour a hot beverage at the time.
A lovely little teapot perfect for a timeless gift, or for those who enjoy collecting everyday objects with a past.
