19th Century Dutch Hinged Silver Stamp Box with Dutch Scene Lid.

A very nice 19th Century little stamp box with a Dutch scene on the top hinged lid of a windmill and cows and a sailboat on water.  Lifting the hinged lid reveals 3 sections with curved upward bottoms for stamps.  The curved bottoms allow the stamps to be easily slid out.

Dutch silver hallmarks on bottom.  Silver fineness of .833.  Mark in use from 1814 to 1953,

Measures:  3 inches long x 1 1/2 inches deep x 5/8 inches high.
