Chinese Boxwood Hand Carved Grouping of Shou Lao (God of Longevity) – 17 inches Tall – Qing Dynasty circa 1890

A finely carved boxwood figure of Shao Lao (god of longevity).  The figure of a wise old man leaning on his staff, a child on one side by his feet and a crane on the other side.

The figure is in two pieces – the grouping and a fitted stand.

Measures 17 inches high.  Beautiful condition and finely carved.
