A stoneware biscuit barrel, made by Doulton Lambeth, it dates circa, 1880, Victorian period. The biscuit barrel consists of a round bulbous shape, and a rustic silver-plated rim with handle and lid. It is decorated with a bead, flower, leaf and shell patterns upon the centre and border. It is a colour composition of soft earthly tones of brown, yellow, green and blue on a ivory base colour, with a unique gloss finish.
