A handsome green leather topped desk in mahogany from the Regency period, England, circa 1830.  The desk has panels of leather on top – the centre one lifts up on an angle and the angle is adjustable to many angles by two arms that are supported by notches inside the table top.  The front shows 3 drawers with round brass hardware – the drawers pull out and run the full depth of the desk.  The backside shows 3 fake drawers – so the desk can be placed anywhere in a room – not just against the wall.

The legs taper and end at brass caps with wheels.
