Pair of Ivora Gouda Pottery Candlesticks – Dutch circa 1910

This is an excellent example of Gouda pottery from Holland having a deep dark green background decorated with cobalt blues lighter shades of green highlighted with yellow and white. This pair of candle sticks have a round base narrow neck and a built-in bobeche to catch any unexpected candle drips to prevent wax from hitting any table they may sit upon.

MEASURES: 6 3/4 inches high x 4 1/4 inches wide at base.

MARKED:  505,  MAT. 23, IVORA. GOUDA, HOLLAND.

EXCELLENT CONDITION: No chips, cracks.  One stick has a small rubbing along one edge of the base it has been coloured so it is not very noticeable.
