v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA Pair of lovely Hand-Painted Meissen Vases With ‘Deer and Hunter Scenes’ . It features a unique double – bulbous shaped vase in a pale yellow colour with white ground and gold decoration, and multiple hand-painted forest scenes containing deer and hunters on horseback.
Marked. On the bottom in blue, ‘AR’ mark (Augustus Rex mark – early 19th century period).
Measures: 7 inches tall x 3 1/8 inches wide.
Excellent Condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Minor wear from age and wear.
