Central bands of hand painted “puttis in landscape” scenes trimmed in gold gilt are supported by several layers of the “turquoise” jeweled porcelain patterning, that ornaments the entire lower urn to the circular bronze gilt base. The removable lids just add to the luxury in presentation with the porcelain in high relief foliate hand painted gilt and jewelled decoration.
This stately and palatial pair of “blue celeste” Sevres style urns are a luxurious addition to any grand setting.
