Set of 4 Royal Crown Derby Double-Handled Cream Soup Bowls with Underplates – “Balmoral Pattern”
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA lovely set of 4 Royal Crown Derby porcelain double-handled cream soup bowls with matching under-plates. They are in the “Balmoral Pattern”.
The exterior of the soup bowl, centre of the bowl and under-plate, and underside of the under-plate are white and are trimmed in gold on the rims, centre of the body of the bowl and on the handles of the bowl.
On the body of the bowl and under-plate is a gorgeous apple green paint which contrasts very well with the white and gold.
The centre of each piece is painted with a lovely rose floral spray in pinks, oranges, yellows, and blues with green leaves and brown stems.
On the underside of the bowl and plate are the Royal Crown Derby maker’s mark as well as “Royal Crown Derby Made in England Rd No 710699 BALMORAL” and the painted numbers “9864”.
The soup bowl is 7 inches wide from handle to handle and is 2 inches tall. The under-plate is 6 3/4 inches in diameter.
All pieces are in excellent condition.
