Art Glass / Crystal, LightingStunning early 20th century Art Deco bohemian art glass, beaded “basket” table lamp with glass flowers, grapes, berries & fruit. Exquisitely handcrafted basket with graduated clear glass beads (as if in a necklace) mounted to handle in a graduated line and larger to smaller vertically mounted strands of glass beads on the body exterior. The base has a brass top rim and at the bottom, a smaller brass rim with four clamshell and scrolling form feet. Lit from the inside the “basket” features a beautiful arrangement of colourful art glass grapes, berries, flowers and fruit. The lamp has been rewired and in excellent condition.
This rare piece is not just a lamp but a unique piece of 1920s art deco bohemian glass from Czechoslovakia. A perfect union of timeless beauty and practical use.
