Unique Patinated Brass Pan Light Fixture early 20th Century with 5 Light Shades by Lundberg Studios-Pulled Feather Pattern

,

A unique early 20th century patinated brass pan light fixture, possibly art deco, with 5 Lundberg Studio shades. James Glenn Lundberg attended San Jose State University, where he studied art. After college, he moved to the Santa Cruz area and opened Lundberg Studios, a glass-blowing shop, in Davenport, CA in 1970. It became one of the most well-known producers of glass art in the country. It sold its products to the Smithsonian Institution, Gumps, the Nature Company and received an order from the White House for 250 of their “World Weight” paper weights which imitated the planet earth.

The fixture is in good working order, being rewired and the shades are “art works” in themselves, signed “Lundberg Studios 2006”. They are handblown with images of gorgeous green leaves bordered in gold on a white background reminiscent of the “pulled feather ” or “tulip leaf” patterns for which they are famous. The interiors of the shades are a luxurious gold.

Each shade Measures: height 6.5″ x max diameter 5.25″ with 2.25 inch rim fitter.
Overall measurement of fixture:  32 inches high from ceiling (including cap and chain and shades) x 19 inches wide (including shades).
