Very Rare Shelley England Bone China Cup and Saucer – Oleander Shape, “Meander” Pattern of Roses and Other Florals on Both Interior and Exterior

A very rare find!  A Shelley England bone china cup and saucer in the Oleander shape (with scalloped edges) with a white background and a flowing pattern of roses and other florals called “Meander” in a pale green. There is also green trim on the rims of both the cup and saucer.

The underside of each piece shows the maker’s mark and reads “Fine Bone China. Shelley England. Reg’d No. 771299”. Also, in red paint, are the numbers “0276/48 S”.

The cup measures 4 1/4 inches wide and stands 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.

There is minimal paint loss to a couple of places on the rim but does not distract from the cup and saucer.
