Vintage Sherman Fuchsia Pink Aurora Borealis & Molded Glass Leaf Brooch, Circa 1960

The brooch is designed as a bold floral cluster centred by a brilliant deep fuchsia rhinestone and surrounded by large faceted pink and Aurora Borealis crystals. Particularly distinctive are the molded glass leaf-shaped stones, finished with an iridescent surface that produces flashes of blue, violet and green as the light changes.
Additional marquise-cut pink rhinestones complete the composition, with each stone individually prong-set in a bright rhodium-plated silver-tone setting. The reverse bears the applied Sherman signature plaque and retains its original pin and safety clasp.
Measures approximately 2 inches in diameter.
This is a particularly attractive Sherman brooch because of the unusual molded leaf stones and oversized faceted crystals, giving it considerably more visual interest than a standard rhinestone cluster.
