Designed as an exuberant starburst or floral spray, the brooch is densely set with elongated pink navette-cut rhinestones accented by brilliant Aurora Borealis crystals displaying flashes of blue, gold, violet and green. The centre is formed from a layered cluster of round pink and iridescent stones, creating exceptional depth and sparkle.
Each stone is individually prong-set in a silver-tone setting, with the reverse bearing the applied Sherman signature plaque.
A particularly vibrant and dramatic example of mid-century Sherman jewellery and an excellent piece for a collector of Canadian vintage costume jewellery.
