Beautiful Quality Gilt Bronze & Etched Crystal Flute Epergne
GeneralA beautiful quality gilt bronze epergne with a single etched glass flute in the centre. The epergne is footed and has a circular shelf that could accommodate small fruit – the centre flute to be filled with a bouquet of flowers. Three women’s heads decorate the top of the bronze that make up the holder for the glass flute.
The gilding is very high quality.
Unsigned – most likely Austrian or French – late 19th century / early 20th Century..
