England’s Minton Fine Bone China, Dinner Set in the Charming & Romantic “Bala” Pattern , 4 Place Settings , Vintage Circa 1950s

The Minton “Bala” pattern is made of fine English bone china and was primarily produced in the mid-20th century, circa the 1940s to 1960s.   This vintage design features charming, romantic bouquets of multi-coloured flowers, including prominent pink roses with a central circular grey scrolls, all on an ivory background. A distinctive swirl or scalloped rim is trimmed in gold gilding.
Minton china continues to be valued by collectors and general users for its fine materials, durable construction, and sophisticated artistry. Pieces from the company’s long history are considered testaments to a rich heritage of craftsmanship. Queen Victoria herself purchased Minton pieces at the Great Exhibition of 1851.
